Navigate the Proofs Page

Prerequisites

  • A campaign exists that manages at least one proof
  • You are the owner, or have been invited to participate in that campaign or proof

When you click "View Proof" from the Campaign page, the proof page opens for the selected proof.

Top Panel

The top panel of this page:

provides information and functionality to develop your proof:

1. Proof Version

Details of the proof are summarized:

Note, that you will only be able to make comments on the most recent version of the proof.

Should you be using the advanced feature: automatic dynamic content labels, the variant of the proof will also be displayed.

Notice, that the "Master" label has been assigned in the above example.

2. Email Header

Preview how the recipient will see the sender, the subject, and the preheader.

3. Work with your Proof

View

View mode allows you to view the proof from the recipient's perspective. Reviewers may also verify links in this mode.

Annotate

Annotate mode provides a pin-drop to allow reviewers to make comments. Learn more about making Annotations and Comments.

Compare

Compare mode lets you side-by-side your proofs. Compare different versions of the same proof or compare different proofs:

Notice that you can return to a single proof view, or open the comment stream from the top menu:

4. Take Notes

Notes supports a text box to record thoughts and communicate with the team.

5. Manage Notifications

Notifications provides a control over when you will receive notifications with regards to changes to this proof.

6. Share

The share button lets you:

  • Manage reviewers
  • Copy the campaign link
  • Send proofs by email
  • Send notifications to reviewers

7. Mark Review Complete

When a review of a proof is complete, owners may click this button to formalize that the review is finalized.

Note, the right-hand pane also supports this function.

8. Ellipsis

The menu extends to allow you to:

  • Unset the "Master" label
  • View source code
  • Export to PDF
  • Open version in a new window
  • Delete this version
  • Delete the entire proof

9. Control the View

You can control how you view the proof:

  • Toggle images, i.e., turn images on/off
  • View as desktop, i.e., as a desktop user will experience the email
  • View as mobile, i.e., in responsive mode: as a mobile user will experience the email

Right-hand Pane

The right-hand pane presents the update stream, i.e., the comments, annotations, and updates on the proof.

14. Control Version

Look back over previous versions or add a new version.

15. Manage and View Decisions

  • View decisions

Use the drop down to view previous decisions

  • Add a new decision

Click "Add decision"

Note that the three colored circles convey the number of decisions made by reviewers on the proof:

16. Mark a Task as Completed

An annotation typically equates to a task that must be done. Such tasks can be marked completed:

Lower Panel: the Proof

Finally, the proof itself is shown in the lower panel.
