FAQ

Why can't I see the same functions as shown in the documentation?

ProofJump applies Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). This means that different users will experience different functionality. The 4 supported user types are:

  • User

The key role within the ProofJump system. You setup and manage campaigns and proofs.

  • Super User

A system administrator.

  • Reviewer

A registered guest, able to review proofs.

  • Unregistered guest

An uninvited user who has the URL to a proof or campaign.

The user and admin roles are very similar, with just a few extra features opened up to admins.

The registered guest is a very useful role, it lets teams invite additional reviewers – without requiring full access to all of the management features associated with a campaign. Learn more about inviting reviewers and guest reviewers.

The unregistered guest allows for teams to share a URL to a proof or campaign. However, because the person who has this URL has not been formally invited by your team, the available functions are very restricted.
