Annotate and Comment

Reviewers (users or guests) can make annotations via the desktop or mobile interface.

Prerequisites

If you have not logged in, or if it is your first time reviewing as a guest, you will be prompted to log in or register when you attempt to annotate or comment.

Make an annotation

  1. Select the Annotate icon in the top panel.

  1. Place a pin wherever you would like to make an annotation, and add your comments to the text box.

  1. Click "Submit" when you are finished.

Collaborate instantly

Notify reviewers

Note that, once the annotation is created, it appears on the comment stream. Your annotation is immediately available to anyone reviewing the proof, i.e., it updates in real-time.

Also, any reviewers who have their notification settings to receive updates will receive an email notification.

Reply to reviews

Team members may collaborate around an annotation by using the "Reply" option.

The reply can then be added in the right-hand pane.

Upload materials to share

Notice, that in the reply pane and the original comment dialog, there is an option to upload materials to support this comment.

Mark task complete

Owners of proofs may mark comments and annotations as 'done' by clicking on the check-mark at the bottom left of comments. This step lets you keep track of which requests have been addressed.

Guest reviewers don't have permissions to mark an item as complete.
